WOW: RICKY GERVAIS PODCAST SEASON 5!

Nicely timed to coincide with the release of GHOST TOWN in the U.S. this weekend, tomorrow marks “D-Day” for Season 5 of the RICKY GERVAIS SHOW, the hilarious and wide-ranging conversational podcasts between Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant and that idiot with a “head like a fucking orange”, Karl Pilkington.

The previous seasons of the show have kept me fulfilled for hours on end (and several repeat listens) mostly whilst traveling in my car, worrying other drivers as to why that maniac is crying with laughter and struggling to stay in lane! I believe the show was at one point the most downloaded podcast in history (might still be, I don’t know) and Gervais is adamant this season is sadly, the last.

The podcast has been downloaded over 8 million times and there is no other form of entertainment which can blend such philosophical conversations with strange, idiot nonsense and the most undeniably infectious laugh from Gervais.

Here’s the teaser of what’s to come from the four 30 minute long episodes. Karl highlights include, “It’s 2008, I’ve got slugs in my pipes”!

If you have never heard a second of the Ricky Gervais podcast, here are some of the glorious highlights of the previous seasons thanks to Youtube…

“Karl’s Diary”

“Monkey News”

“Nicknames”

The whole season will be available from tomorrow on ITUNES and is UNMISSABLE. You can also download the previous three seasons, which I can guarantee you will listen to more than once.
