Wow…
I’m in a rush so random image of the film followed by the new spot…
Slightly better quality if you follow this link… for some reason embedding has been disabled on that one.

not that i doubt nolan in any way shape or form, but is it really necessary to explain where the new suit comes from or why it’s needed?
As we know with Batman, the main thing on WB’s mind is to sell toys. I still wonder if WB pushed for a change in his suit. Sure, it helps him move better. But, is it all that needed?
I actually preferred the suit in Batman Begins, only in terms of design.
The new one’s just got too many grooves and lines, y’know, all the frills.
The one that Bale first donned is just way slicker… much more easy on the eye.
(Although I know that its flaws are that ONE, it eventually became uncomfortably hot from the inside; and TWO, Bale couldn’t move his head with ample flexibility given that the head gear was seamlessly connected to the shoulders).
So, simply put…
Simplistic zen-like design was the edge of the BB suit.
Improved functionality, on the other hand, is the upside of the TDK suit.
