It hasn’t taken long for Chris Columbus’ remake of Francis Lawrence’s I Am Legend to receive a trailer. This will be the fourth film adaptation of Matheson’s classic novel but this time it’s an out and out remake of what Will Smith did last year and which earned WB $584 million worldwide.
So not to confuse us with Smith’s film, this one has the creepy horror 80’s slasher title Home Alone and will star Macualay Culkin who has miraculously begun to de-age drastically in the last few years.
He sees this movie as his comeback film, and it’s great to see Joe Pesci on screen again after coming out of retirement recently for The Good Shepard.
Daniel Stern rounds out the main cast.
Only thing I wasn’t to fond of was that they claim Culkin is the last human alive but then they show several shots of other humans straight away? Bad directing right there but hopefully this will get a distribution deal next year.
Oh, and a real challenge for you editors out there. Make a FEATURE LENGTH movie inter-cutting film between two conflicting genres. Now that would take some doing and would undoubtedly get you noticed by someone.

bloody brilliant, looks familiar though
