You may have noticed, we are trying out a lot of new things around here. For the past week or so you might have seen a playlist of cool movie related tracks to celebrate Valentines Day as chosen by our very own Simon Gallagher.
Well to give the playlist more coverage, I’ve added his second contribution to it’s own original post. This time he has done a Tarantino special and well, of course, the result is some stunning tracks that I can guarantee will be on repeat, playing around in your head for weeks.
Tarantino doesn’t use original film scores. Instead he uses his favourite singles and shoots scenes to match them, his filmography without question has the best music of any other director…

Isn’t it The Urge Overkill version of “Girl You’ll Be A Woman Soon” in PULP FICTION and not the Neil Diamond original?
It is indeed- but I couldnt resist a bit of Neil. If I could have sneaked in Sweet Caroline Id have tried my best as well!
@ Matt Holmes: Yes sir. it is.
i gotta say i’m quite a tarantino geek. i got all the OST’s on cd. I dig this though, i think it’s a fun idea.
Its great to see you guys trying something different with this site. Cool playlist.
