There was some real high profile animated releases this year with a two decades in the making SIMPSONS MOVIE, the third SHREK flick, the return of those teenage turtles and yet another Pixar classic with RATATOUILLE.
Also, let’s not forget the motion captured animated movie BEOWULF which we are putting into this category.

I loved Ratatouille and also enjoyed The Simpsons a great deal, but I really want to see Persepolis. A couple of close friends saw a screening of it last week and will not shut up about how great it was, which upsets me since it doesn’t open up here in Minneapolis until this weekend.
