Behind-the-scenes on NINJA ASSASSIN

It’s in German but the behind-the-scenes footage from Ninja Assassin is a good indicator of the kind of action and stunt sequences we can expect when the James McTeigue (V for Vendetta) directed film opens on January 16th 2009.

The movie stars South Korean pop sensation Rain as Raizo one of the deadliest assassins in the world who was taken off the streets as a child and trained as a killer by the Ozunu Clan. When a close friend of Raizo is killed without mercy by the clan, he breaks free and plots to take revenge.

Naomi Harris plays a Europol agent investigating the mysterious clan. Rick Yune and Ben Miles co-star.

The movie is produced by Joel Silver and The Wachowski’s for Warner Bros.

  1. It all looks very cool. What gets me is the fact that pop star actors from the Far East can actually act and convincingly perform all the martial arts action.
