Immediately around the time that the Snakes on a Plane phenomenon was taking off, The American film studio The Asylum (who always produce B-movie flicks ripping off Hollywood titles and plots) went to work on Snakes on a Train. The movie went straight to DVD in August and was, as expected poorly recieved by all.
Now comes the second attempt (and probably not the last) to catch onto the SOAP hype. This time it’s Zombies terroising a planeĀ and they have tried to hide the fact it’s a rip of from SOAP by calling it simply… Plane Dead.
You can see the trailer for the movie at the official site here, but don’t expect a theatre release for it…. this baby’s going straight to DVD for sure.

Geez, the trailer was pretty cool, though. This looks like exactly the kind of trashiness that SoaP was trying to achieve in the first place.
Not a fan of zombie movies, but this looked better than I thought it would.
