I look at the cute, likeable and immensely talented Aussie actress/stuntwoman Zoe Bell, and remember how enjoyable it was to witness her playing herself in Quentin Tarantino’s Death Proof, and I can’t help but think there is a fun t.v. series in there someone.
Bell’s the star. You know, a Charlie’s Angel’s-like ludicrous setup for a t.v. show, centered around a stuntwoman by day and a crime fighter by night. Starring Zoe Bell, as herself. With a couple of sidekicks, love interest, etc. I’d watch it.
Sadly I won’t be at Comic Con this year. You can add it to the failed list of Sundance, Edinburgh and Cannes of festivals I had hoped to attend but life got in the way. Next year baby, next year.
However we do have someone at the Con. Nicola Balkind, who currently twitters here but will soon be twittering here will be attending the festival for us. And you betcha, I’m accepting the invitation for her to see Angel of Death, starring Zoe Bell. Not that I have any idea what it is.
