20th Century Fox have premiered the trailer for Chris Columbus’ (HOME ALONE, MRS. DOUBTFIRE) next movie I LOVE YOU, BETH COOPER, a high school rom-com about a nerdy student who declares his love for the most popular girl in school, the hot blonde cheerleader.
Said cheerleader is played by HEROES hot cheerleader Hayden Panettiere who is so flattered by a public decloration of love, that she gives the nerd the night of his life.
I quite like these kind of movies…
I LOVE YOU, BETH COOPER is based on Larry Doyle’s novel of the same name who has also wrote the screenplay.
The movie opens July 10th 2009 (U.S.) and August 21st (U.K.)

That short speech almost beats one of Al Pacino’s rants.
wow, this is so different from what Chris Columbus has ever done. but it does feel a bit too much like a watered down superbad or typical teen flick. i dont really care for hayden but that smile she gives after she flashes her body is surprisingly sexy. but ahem, no thats not the only reason that would get me to see this- nope. the actor playing the nerd looks promising……yeaah..
