Who’s writing THE BOYS?

Columbia picked up the rights to Garth Ennis’ popular comic book series The Boys back in February and finally over six months later they have found some scribes to adapt the project.

Matt Manfredi & Phil Hay, the writing duo who scribed Aeon Flux & Crazy/Beautiful.

The book follows the adventures of a CIA squad, known informally as “the boys,” whose job is to keep watch on the proliferation of superheroes and, if necessary, intimidate or eliminate them.

No word on who is directing yet but six months ago, I suggested Joe Carnahan to helm with Simon Pegg, Ray Liotta, Chiaki Kuriyama, Laurence Fishburne and Sam Huntington to star based on their likeness to the characters.
