The more I see, the more I like. WALL-E can’t get here quick enough if you ask me. Certain directors have been saying sci-fi is dead - with Pixar on the case maybe that isn’t so.
The following clip is taken from a tradeshow promo from for the movie and it features writer/director Andrew Stanton talking about the film.
We also get a look at some concept art, previzualisation material and Eve, a sleek and sexy female robot who’ll set Wall-E’s heart racing.
The pair will venture into space to the intergalactic cruise ship the Axim where humans are still alive, if not completely well.
Says Stanton: “[The Axim is] this resort in space that’s got all this cool technology and it’s one of the lone cruise ships that left hundreds of years ago and humanity’s still alive. Yet the whole soul of life seems to be missing. Wall-E manages to sort of give humanity a reboot.”
