It’s great that we are rapidly heading towards Halloween. I always look forward to it every year as horror movies will be all over our TV screens and cinema’s (although new horror releases have sucked recently).
This year we are getting some new DVD releases too. Not only is The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Halloween and A Nightmare on Elm Street getting cool new special editions but so too are the legendary Hammer movies.
DVD Times have got the scoop on a 21 movie dvd collection featuring the best of the Hammer movies, everything from horror to science fiction. However it doesn’t come cheap folks, it’s going to be priced at around £150 (region 2 uk) when it’s released at the end of the month.
At that price I certainly won’t be buying it, but I will be adding loads of titles on my rental list so I can enjoy once again some of the masterpieces that were the Hammer movies.
