Uber-Bingo!!!

Best Supporting Actor… already? I like this pacing, straight off the bat with a big one. Or is it just because Christoph Waltz is so obviously gonna win that there’s no point drawing it out?

Still… this is a solid category this year. Loved Tucci in The Lovely Bones, creepy as hell. Plummer as Tolstoy is incredible. Harrelson in The Messenger, wow.

I could give or take Damon as Francois Piennar. Not his strongest… I would have preferred Christian McKay for Orson Welles and Me.

And it’s Waltz, of course. Carries on the legacy of psycho supporting winners… Bardem for No Country… Heath Ledger of The Joker. Now Waltz for Inglourious Basterds.

Great speech. Wonderful performance… best character and performance EVER in a Tarantino movie.

Waltz, deserved, Yes. Best performance in a tarantino movie. Dunno bout that, been so many memorable ones. Tarantino talked about his friendly comp with PTA recently, and one thing il say about both those directors, they know how to get a preformance out of an actor.
