Two new STAR WARS-like posters for IRON MAN!

I hate flooded posters where a studio just throws all the stars in, sometimes with floating heads and a little shadowing from Photoshop. The one’s that tell you zip about the film apart from what the actors will look like.

I should by that criteria, ridicule this job from Paramount and Marvel but ya know… I don’t hate it.

I can’t even tell you why I don’t hate these posters. WHY DON’T I HATE THEM? Doesn’t make any sense.

Maybe it’s just because I’m starting to get excited over the first Summer event movie of 2008?

Less than two months away now guys. Let’s hope IRON MAN is step up from Mavel’s two offerings last year…

  1. Oh sweet… I wasn’t really excited by the upcoming Iron Man but these posters have style and verve. I totally disagree with you Matt about the Star Wars-stle flood-personality posters: they’re the best kind of modern poster!

Star Wars, Indiana Jones and The Lord of the Rings all used it brilliantly for their visual material. Iron Man has managed it as well…
