Three weeks ago we told you that Shia LaBeouf was going to be cast as Indiana Jones’ son in Indiana Jones IV and that even though it was far from confirmed then, nearly every site on the Internet said it was likely to be true.
Well today, we got confirmation through from Variety who are telling us the actor is in final talks for the role.
Don’t know who LaBeouf is? Well he was the annoying kid from I, Robot and Constantine and he has the lead role in the upcoming Transformers movie. He could very well be Spielberg’s new muse.
Why we need a kid in the movie I don’t know but I’ve ranted about this before, so I won’t bore you with it again.
Indiana Jones IV is set to start filming in June and I think it’s really happening this time. Harrison Ford and very soon Shia LaBeouf are the only names cast so far.
