What is it with remaking horror movies that starred Jamie Lee Curtis?
The memorable 80’s slasher flick Prom Night is being remade right now as is the staple of the genre Halloween but a one you might not be aware of is a remake of the horror flick Terror Train. I’ve never seen the movie myself but it’s IMDB rating is 4.4 and according to it’s trivia the movie came about when director Roger Spottiswoode attended a screening of Halloween and a light bulb went off in his head and he decided to write a script which he described as ‘Halloween on a train’.
Of course, he went on to hire Jamie Lee Curtis for his movie to really push that concept but the result is said to be a disaster.
Bloody Disgusting report that American Beauty star Thora Birch has signed up for the flick because…. well… her careers going no-where. Gideon Raff is the man behind the camera with a bunch of unknowns making up the numbers.
Quite ironic isn’t it that Halloween is coming out once again and then the movie dubbed ‘Halloween on a train’ shortly after. Talk about history repeating itself.

you’re an ass. Train is not a remake od terror train, it’s a different movie, and from what i’m hearing, it’s going to be awesome.
