From the outside looking in, it seems that Frank Miller has searched through the whole archives of THE SPIRIT and added into his film every hot female character he can find. Has there ever been a comic book adaptation or hell, even a film noir/detective movie so filled with this many women and so few males at this point?

Variety say Spanish hottie Paz Vega is latest bombshell to join the movie, as the knife wielding Paris of Plaster. No word if she is a goodie or a baddie and my attempts to search the web for some info on the character haven’t turned out to fruitful.

The trade also have confirmation of the character Jaime King will play in the movie. They say she will be Lorelai, who is described as a phantom siren.

There’s some more names added to the cast too…

Regular t.v. actor Dan Lauria will play Commissoner Dolan.

Louis Lombardi who played Edgar Stiles in 24 has been cast as Phobos.

Another hottie, Stana Katic who can currently be seen in FEAST OF LOVE and who has joined the second season of HEROES as Hana Gitelman has joined the cast in an unknown role. She was also in Season 5 of 24, as the bad-girl Collette Stranger, pictured below.
