The Rock set to climb Witch Mountain

The RockWitch Mountain, the Walt Disney remake of the 1970’s fantasy flick Escape from Witch Mountain has found it’s first star.

Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock.

If talks go well, the movie will reunite the actor with director Andy Fickman, who he just teamed together with for Disney’s The Game Plan. In the remake, he will be playing the role of the cab driver who picks up a pair of siblings who have magical powers.

My advice to The Rock would be to stop doing the Vin Diesel/Hulk Hogan movies like The Game Plan and stick to your action movies or hell, even your dramatic acting. The Game Plan is a movie you should have stayed very far from and this fantasy movie doesn’t sound like your type of film at all.

Speaking of The Game Plan, you can see that movie on September 28th in the U.S. but strangely not until March in the U.K.

The Rock is going down a really stupid road here. He needs a new agent or manager. Somebody to tell him the kids films aren’t for him.

I agree. Mr. Dwayne Johnson, I do believe, does have some talent but he’ll only get to show off his acting chops if he chooses the right roles.

Get him in gritty action drama roles, not dumb kiddie fun flicks.

I have no problem with The Rock doing kid’s films … but he shouldn’t be doing DUMB kid’s films like this cinematic abortion.

I’m starting to smell what the Rock is cooking! And that smell isn’t very good, right now!

If he doesn’t start picking some better material to do. The Rock’s acting days a slowly numbered!
