The “Original” idea of action figures that come to life, hmmmm.

The Hollywood Reporter say that the recent development deal for the spec script Little Big War came from an “original” idea by producer Greg Suess - which is fine but I’m not particularly fond of the choice of wording.

It makes it sound like the project is a refreshing new idea. But it’s not…

Details on Jay Longino and Michael Browning’s spec script are under wraps, but it likely will revolve around a family that must band together to fight action figures that come to life and go on the attack.

OK… Small Soldiers come to mind?
