Seth GordonSeth Gordon’s documentary The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters about two guys playing Donkey Kong has propelled him into the mainstream of Hollywood as he has just been tapped for his first mainstream feature film. The movie is Four Christmases and as we reported a couple of weeks back it will star Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon as a couple who struggle to visit all four divorced parents on Christmas Day.

The script comes from first time writers Matt Allen and Caleb Wilson and New Line are hoping to have the movie completed and in theatres by next Christmas.

I can actually relate a little bit to this movie. My Christmas Day has always been like this. So many people and families to see that sometimes it turns into a mad rush and you can’t relax on what is suppose to be one of the most relaxing days on the calendar.

The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters astonishingly made $51,493 in only five different theatres this weekend.
