The Invisible pushed back to Primeval’s release date?

10m2.jpgRemember a few days ago,  a story about Primeval’s release date being bumped up to January 12th suddenly, without any justification as to why.

Well today the plot gets a little thicker.

Bloody Disgusting are reporting that David Goyer’s awful looking supernatural movie The Invisible has been pushed back from it’s January 26th release date to April 13th, the very same day that Primeval was suppose to be released.

The movies have been produced by Hollywood Pictures and Buena Vista respectively, who are linked studio’s, so the reasoning must be that they are worried about one movie bombing more than the other.

The interesting thing is which movie are they most worried about sucking and which one now benefits from the better release date?

I have a sneaking suspicion that BOTH suck, and so they are trying to corner the horror market for the weekend.

I spoke with BV about this and you would think I would have asked why their was a switch. Honestly I cant see the logic. Both films I think are of equal calibre based on the trailers and TV spots, so whats with the switch?
