UPDATED: It didn’t take too long for the trailer to end up on Youtube. Thanks to Filmstalker for the heads up. See it below yesterday’s writings…

This is rather annoying.

A trailer for the much troubled sci-fi movie The Invasion has made it’s way online but those damn idiots at AOL Moviefone have once again made it user restricted so it’s only viewable in certain countries, the U.K. not being one of them.

Leave a comment in the talkback section if you can access the trailer. Does it look coherent even after all the trouble the movie has gone through?

Is it a character driven art film or a blockbuster sci-fi movie?

Does it have any resemblance to The Invasion of the Body Snatchers?

I don’t love the trailer but I am intrigued…

I think it looks great, actually. This story could really have some resonance today. The only problem I have with this trailer is the car chase that features so prominently in it – obviously the work of the Wachowskis … and it doesn’t fit the overall creepy tone set up by the rest of the trailer.
