After the remake of The Hills Have Eyes made a profit of around $55 million dollars earlier this year, a sequel was always going to be on the cards. The director of the original movie Wes Craven is once again on board to produce the film and has this time wrote the script along with his son Jonathan, after reportedly being impressed by the remake.
One person who is not returning for the sequel though is the remake’s director Alexandre Aja, who rejected the chance to return, leaving the job to TV commericals director Martin Weisz.
