Some interesting names have signed up for the Simon Pegg led comedy flick How To Lose Friends and Alienate People which is set to begin filming in a little over two weeks in both London and New York.
Jeff Bridges, Kirsten Dunst, Gillian Anderson and according to IMDB Danny Huston have all signed up for the flick. The movie will follow Pegg as a disillusioned intellectual (the image of which already has me in stitches) who gets offered the job of writing for the alternative magazine Post-Modern Review, where success and hilarity ensues.
The flick is based on Toby Young’s book of the same name published in 2002. Apparently Bridges is an actor that director Robert B. Weide had been trying to secure for quite some time.
If it’s got Simon Pegg in it, then of course I’m interested. Playing comedic and ridiculous characters as straight and as convincing as Pegg can, is a commendable talent and one that is absolutely hilarious to watch on screen.
