A bit cruel if your aged 17 and the idea of seeing Efron as a pale vampire gives you pleasures your boyfriend just can’t provide. But well life’s cruel.
Instead it’s gonna be Zac’s on screen HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL partner and real life girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens who could end up in the TWILIGHT sequel NEW MOON which begins filming in just a matter of weeks.
According to MTV, who played Chinese whispers with TWILIGHT actress Ashley Greene, Hudgens has auditioned for the part of Leah Clearwater who is a bitter and cynical werewolf who likes to antagonize her friend Jacob Black, who we learnt this week shall once again be played by Taylor Lautner.
The recently turned 20 year old Hudgens, who has no doubt made more money than I will see in a lifetime based off the HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL franchise, is truly out to conquer the world if she wins this role. Hudgens and Efron as the next Kidman and Cruise?

gosh…she cannot act like leah..i mean leah is bitter and this girl acted in high school musical with a happy smiling face…how can i watch new moon with tat face in my mind…beside she can’t even act properly!
Hey I think that she’s an atress and that means she should be able to act whatever way she need to for a certain character. I just think it might be hard for people to get used to her in that role since it’s soooooo differant to High School Musical. I think she could be brillent if she wanted to be it’s not fair for people to judge her on a musical role because musicals are meant to be over acted and kind of corny!! All actors and actresses do differant kinds of movies during their careers! They go from horror chick flick like a yo-yo. One thing though does she not have to be native american to play the part of Leah because Leah is a Quilete!!
The only way IT could be in New Moon was if IT was Wolf #4.
