Tarantino planning Kill Bill 3 and 4?

kill_bill_xl_06.jpgThere’s some rumors flying around the web that Quentin Tarantino has written the plots for two further adventures in the Kill Bill saga and the original’s executive producer Bennett Walsh has claimed that he could be headed back to China to film them.

Kill Bill: Vol. 3 would revolve around the revenge of two of the mutilated victims of the Crazy 88’s from the awesome House of Blue Leaves scene in Kill Bill Vol. 1.

Kill Bill Vol. 4 would revolve around the daughters of Beatrix Kiddo and Vernita Green, with presumably Green going after or maybe even killing early on Uma Thurman’s character after she killed her mother in the first flick.

Is this really news then?

I say this because Tarantino has claimed ever since Kill Bill was released that he had the idea to get some of the cast back together for a future Kill Bill movie that would likely revolve around the daughter of Vernita Green.

Personally, I think Volume 4 will certainly happen sometime in the future but maybe not for another four of five years when Uma has aged a little bit more. Tarantino has talked about that idea too often for him not to want to do it, and it’s clear he is a huge fan of the Japanese series Lady Snowblood and that’s the direction those flicks went in.

Tarantino’s next film (hopefully) will be Inglorious Bastards and I imagine that will most certainly fill his time until the end of this decade if the movie is as epic as he claims it to be.

So I can see more Kill Bill’s in the future, just not yet.

Well, this is news to me. I LOVED the Kill Bill saga, admittedly part two more than part one. And while I can’t stand Uma Thurman, David Carradine, Darryl Hannah and Michael Madsen more than made up for that.

The plot sounds good enough for me to plunk down ten bucks for it. Just hope that Quentin has learned that while people love his dialogue, that doesn’t mean they want to freaking overdose on it.

I’ve been excited about 3 and 4 for a while but early on after vol. 2 came out, Tarantino said he’d make more when the vernita green’s daughter aged. This is like 7 years time which is ridiculous…and somewhat puts me off on seeing it. I’m still excited by the idea of Tarantino making them though…it certainly cannot stop at Vol. 2. its too good.
