Stan Lee launches LEGION OF 5

Comic book genius and all around nice guy Stan Lee has been making a lot of deals recently, it’s nice to see that a guy of 85 hasn’t lost a cent of his passion for the industry he loves.

The Hollywood Reporter say Lee has setup Legion of 5, a brand new superhero property which he plans to turn into a series of CGI movies and will later cross-platform into video game titles.

The trade say Lee has $24 million to play with.

The vancover based CGI producers Rainmaker will create the look of the characters as well as develop and produce the feature-length CG-animated film properties.

So is this Stan Lee’s version of The Avengers whilst his Marvel studio are busy putting out single movies?

Are we set for a movie like the Fantastic Four as animated but more serious in tone than The Incredibles?

It’s all a mystery at this point but it’s quite exciting, don’t ya think?
