I’m really surprised that this movie isn’t really being talked about online. Speed Racer is the next movie from the Wachowski Brothers who brought us the great Matrix trilogy and also wrote and produced V for Vendetta.

Not to mention that the anime cartoon that the movie is based on, is one of the most successful Japanese exports of all time in America.

This is going to be a huge film, and the news today is that it will start shooting at a German studio in May.

We have anticipated the Wachowski’s next project for quite some time and it will be interesting to see who they cast for this thing. The only name I’ve hard mentioned is Keanu Reeves, but I think that was more Matrix fanboy wishing than anything else!
