Some new images from this Halloween’s horror movie Trick r’ Treat have hit the web and thankfully some of the stills look as eerie as the poster we debuted last month.

The images look fun too. I have a feeling this might as self referential and as light hearted as the Scream flicks, which is probably a good thing because way too many horror movies are taking themselves to seriously these days.

Trick r Treat opens October 5th (U.S.) and October 26th (U.K.) and I’m far more hopeful of this being any good than Rob Zombie’s Halloween remake.
