She’ll be back?

Linda Hamilton’s reps have suggested that the 51 year old actress would be very interested in hearing about a potential part or cameo in the upcoming Terminator Salvation after rumors yesterday were spread across the web claiming she had already agreed on a return.

Hamilton who hasn’t been in a big movie for 11 years since Dante’s Peak, turned down the opportunity of renewed exposure and a big paycheck when she said no to Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines on the grounds that she wouldn’t do a Terminator movie without her ex husband director James Cameron.

But maybe financial times are a little harder on here now and the roles getting more difficult to come by and the fact that McG has held several talks and seems to have the blessing of Cameron - she may be inclined to change her mind.

Terminator Salvation is currently filming for a May 2009 release. Christian Bale leads the movie as John Connor who must lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators in the year 2018. Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin, Bryce Dallas Howard, Common, Roland Kickinger, Moon Bloodgood, Jadagrace and Helena Bonham Carter star.

  1. Hope she gets involved, it would give these films a lot more credibility.
