Schenkenberg is The Terminator?

Well his name kinda sounds like Schwarzenegger!

Coming Soon have got the scoop on some talk about the new Terminator movie, which was sent to them by “Pauluz”…

Just wanted to inform you about something interesting. The male model Marcus Schenkenberg was on a Dutch tv show and mentioned he went to Cannes last week and booked four new movie roles. One thing that stood out was Terminator 4 and he also mentioned that Schwarzenegger would have a 30-sec cameo. A clip of the interview that will be online next week.

So it’s not actually stated that he will be the new Terminator but he certainly has the build for it.

Could a male model play the character that Arnie totally owns? I guess he doesn’t have to say much and really all he has to do is walk around looking big and spurting a few lines.

A 30 second cameo from Arnie sounds fun but anything more will be distracting IMO.

My vote for the successor to Arnold would be the obivous one -the Rock. A male model? Don’t get me wrong Robert Patrick did a GREAT job as the T-1000, but that was back when Cameron was still running the franchise. A soon as Nick Stahl (who only got the job because the -mis- director liked him personally) got cast I knew the franchsie had gone seriously off the rails. And I was right.

And as much as I enjoyed looking at Kristiana Loken’s perfect ass I never felt she was right for the part either. First Olyphant as Agent 47, now this? The people making the casting choices these days are such freaking idiots. When will these movie morons ever get it?

The problem I would have with The Rock is that I already know him as The Rock… he’s too big of star already. I would just be seeing that guy who use to wrestle and has starred in to many action movies.

For me, it has to be an unknown.

I agree Rock is recognizable, but I don’t think that’s a bad thing in this case.

As far as casting an unknown goes, I can see where you’re coming from. I have no issue with that, but this guy looks too effeminate. Arnold was perfect in that he had a good HARD face, not a smooth, cute one. If they’re messing this part of the movie up then we should all be worried.

Bad casting usually means the guys in charge are thinking about something other than getting the best person for the role -like how much seeing some blonde 19 year-old girl (Kristiana) naked gets them off. I think Mali Finn should be brought back to do casting. She was the one who found both Robert Patrick and Eddie Furlong. Eddie was excellent in my opinion, damn the naysayers. I wish at least he’d have been brought back for T-3. Nick Stahl, who has the funniest-looking face I’ve seen in years, was terrible. He made a better junkie than a leading man.

Weither he will be the next terminator or not, he could make a pretty good Prince of Persia in the live action film by disney and bruckheimer.
