Is Sarah Jayne Dunn (ya know, the chick from Hollyoaks who is in THE DARK KNIGHT) actually playing The Joker’s love-thing, Harley Quinn in THE DARK KNIGHT?
I pretty much dismissed the original news leak where AICN suggested this was the case and to be honest I still think it’s BS, but when RDF Management - the agency who the actress is listed with - has Dunn’s name down for the character, you really have to take notice…
I wouldn’t have thought Harley would be Christopher Nolan’s cup of tea but the evidence is right there. I can’t imagine Dunn’s own agency would make such a critical error as this is the platform for Dunn and her career for getting other roles. IMDB I could believe would mess up but not them.
The rational thought is that perhaps she only appears as Dr. Harleen Quinzel, the psychiatrist form of the character and maybe she is just in a few brief scenes.
Guess we only have 5 months left now to speculate, but wow… the idea of this girl in Harley’s costume is one that gets that blood pumping.

I’m not sure we’ll see her as Harley Quinn. I’m guessing only as Dr. Harleen Quinzel for a small amount of time. Probably at the end or something.

This still sounds a little iffy, considering Christopher Nolan said in an interview that she won’t be in the film…but I like the idea.
I’m sure she’s just the DR-but I’m bettin,’ that at some point, she’ll call him “Mr J’ and the audience will go apeshit-I just wish to God that Heath could be here to see it.
Well, obviously she wasn’t Harley Quinn. Thank God. I would prefer for them to get a real actress to play a role like that. I was a little disappointed in the fact that Harley wasn’t in the movie but at least they saved her for someone who could do her justice.
In my opinion I feel that this is a too difficult role for her to play even though it would be an honor to be able to play Harly Quinn. and if there was a third movie Johnny Depp should play the role of the Joker. But even though Heaths perfomance was outstanding!
