Though they don’t give a source, MTV claim the awesome and soon to be seen as a sex obsessed Chuck Palahniuk character in the upcoming Choke – actor Sam Rockwell has joined the biopic of pornstar turned political activist Linda Lovelace.
The movie is titled Inferno and you may recall the news back in January, Anna Faris will play the title role in her first real dramatic role.
Faris says to MTV…
“You’re not going to even know who I am,” she half-joked, discussing her plans for the portrayal. “I’m not there right now, but I will be when the time comes. I’ll be in a very dark place.”
Linda Lovelace was a legendary porn star who found fame in the early 70’s movie Deep Throat, only to then become a big spokeswoman against pornography claiming she was abused and forced into sexual acts she wanted no part of.

Faris next stars, fittingly, in a movie about a playboy bunny girl due out in October.
