Sam Jackson’s Nick Fury DUMPED from IRON MAN??

This makes no sense at all.

According to a small paragraph reporting on the Wizard World Panel in L.A. on Sunday it appears that whilst Samuel L. Jackson most definitely shot a cameo as Nick Fury for the Iron Man movie, it would seem Marvel have chosen NOT to include the scene in the film.

So all that day (or maybe more) of filming and Marvel’s slack attempt at secrecy was basically for nothing. Sam’s gonna be pissed…

Will it make it’s way as a deleted scene on the DVD or is it being kept back for an extended edition (which doesn’t really do the character much good really).

Is it actually being kept for The Incredible Hulk, and is the scene with Robert Downey’s Iron Man the big crossover?

Or has it simply being deleted because of time or another kind of purpose?

Who knows. Maybe they have actually shot a scene which will be used later in a Nick Fury movie, which Marvel might be looking at for 2010.

  2. This is annoying….I want to see some type of crossover, they better not cut RDJ from Hulk thats all im saying.

  3. This makes no sense. The crossover was to set the foundation for a later Avengers movie. It’s supposed to show a shared world. Without that, Marvel is in the same boat as DC/WB. ????

  6. Nonsense. Sam Jackson plays Nick Fury in iron Man. Just not in the preview or premiere screenings. Lying In The Gutters has the scoop - http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=16195

  7. Yes he is in the movie. You just have to have the patience to wait until the end of the credits.
