The cast of Friends haven’t exactly been setting the world alight. Chandler had Studio 60, Rachel’s movie career derailed and the less said about Joey the better. David Schwimmer, though, has been keeping himself busy behind the camera with his feature debut Run, Fatboy, Run.
The film focuses on a chubby loser who ditches his fiancée on their wedding day only to realise five years later that she was his one true love. Simon Pegg will play the fatboy of the film’s title while Blandie, sorry, Thandie Newton is his dream girl. Support also comes in the form of man of a million Simpsons voices Hank Azaria.
Run, Fatboy, Run opens on September 7th in the UK and October 26th in the US.

“Blandie, sorry, Thandie Newton” Hey, don’t poke fun at my Thandie. She’s destinged to be one of my future ex-wives. Okay, delusions aside, I think she’s a superb actress, and if I had my way, Halle Berry would never have been Storm, Thandie would have.
I’ve been a fan of hers since Beloved. Hated the movie, but loved the scene where she’s standing on the porch at the end. Anyone who’s seen it knows why.

F*CK!! That is one UGLY poster. Damn…am i the only one? The color scheme is terrible, and it gives you no idea what the movie is about. None whatsoever…it just looks like the designer of the poster lazily photoshopped two photoshoot pictures on either side of the title and then rubber stamped the designs in the background. The composition is the worst, there is so much negative space between the title and the credits. Terrible composition.. Nothing about it is good, it just hurts my eyes and head. and Simon Pegg is in this? my head hurts even more….
