Rumored & Real running times for this year’s blockbusters
Here are the running times of some of this year’s biggest films…
IRON MAN - 2 hours and 6 minutes (BBFC - CONFIRMED)
SPEED RACER - 2 hours and 15 minutes which probably includes trailers because of source (MovieTickets.com - UNCONFIRMED).
THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: PRINCE CASPIAN - Couldn’t give a shit (Obsessed With Film - CONFIRMED)
INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL - 2 hours 20 minutes (Hollywood Elsewhere - HEAVILY RUMORED). The last Indy movie in 1989 clocked in at 2 hours and 7 minutes.
THE INCREDIBLE HULK - under 2 hours (EW - CONFIRMED). Norton wanted a longer and slower paced dramatic piece but Marvel have gone for an action orientated under 2 hour flick.
GET SMART - 1 hour and 51 mins (WIKI - CONFIRMED)
THE DARK KNIGHT - 3 hours (Dark Horizons - RUMORED). It’s said WB want it cut down to 2 hours and 30 minutes… but Nolan is fighting the studio for a near 3 hour cut. The film will probably end up somewhere like 2 hours and 40 minutes… which is 20 minutes longer than Batman Begins. Had to expect this when they were dealing with three character arcs of Dent, Batman and Joker.
Other movies like Wall-E, The X-Files 2, Wanted & The Mummy 3 I was not able to find a running time for.
