It’s been announced that oscar nominated actor Joaquin Phoenix and Eternal Sunshine star Mark Ruffalo will join the already cast Jennifer Connelly in the upcoming movie Reservation Road.
The movie, to be directed by Hotel Rwanda helmer Terry George, is an adaptation of a John Burnham Schwartz novel and will begin shooting later this year.

“Phoenix and Ruffalo will play fathers on opposite sides of a hit-and-run: The Ruffalo character kills Phoenix’s son and flees. As the grieving father seeks revenge, the tragedy wears on both men in unexpected ways”.
Sounds interesting enough, Phoenix never fails to deliver the goods and Ruffalo is probably Hollywood’s best kept secret at the moment. Expect this movie to be in oscar contention in 2008.
