I love Rosario Dawson. There’s something really fun about her, like she’s always game for a good time and for nerds like me she at least teases you into thinking that you might have a chance with her. She’s great at just playing the ordinary, happy-go-lucky girl in things like Clerks II and Death Proof but then she’s really great at playing full on sexy and fiesty like in Sin City.

She seems to always be up for anything which is great. Well anything apart from a Kevin Smith porno movie.

We reported a while back that Kevin Smith had wrote a part specifically for Rosario Dawson in his new movie Zack and Miri Make a Porno and the actress looked likely to be re-teaming with her Clerks II director but her comments to MTV suggest she ain’t going to do it…

“It’s going to be a really interesting film. I don’t think I’m going to be a part of it. He wrote it for me, but I’m just signing on to do [”Eagle Eye”] and that’s going to be shooting from November to March.”

Shame about Porno as I thought Smith’s dialogue and characterisation suited Dawson to the ground but the thriller Eagle Eye would seem to be a bigger movie. You may remember this comes from the team who brought us Disturbia and is once again set to see Shia LaBeouf star in a flick for D.J. Caruso.

Eagle Eye follows LaBeouf and a single mother (which we are guessing would be Dawson’s role) as framed terrorists who are forced into joining a team planning to assassinate the U.S. President.

So a shame about the Smith movie, but a good old fashioned ‘wrong man/women’ thriller should satisfy our Rosario taste-buds.
