Sales art for George A. Romero’s …OF THE DEAD (we believe it will be ISLAND OF THE DEAD but title is unconfirmed and Bloody Disgusting disagree) has hit the web, also taken from the American Film Market expo.
Set on an island off the coast of North America, the movie once again follows a set of unknown actors fighting off a zombie epidemic, though this time with the added motivation to find a cure to return the un-dead back to their original human state.
“Death isn’t what it use to be”… and neither is Romero quite frankly but the plot does open up a lot of themes previously unexplored in his cannon.
The movie is currently filming and should be out next year.
