It’s been announced that there is to be a new 15th year anniversary special edition DVD to be released for Reservoir Dogs and it comes with one of the best packaging i’ve ever seen for a DVD.
There doesn’t seem to be much extra’s added to the already special edition DVDS that are out there, but it’s the casing that makes me want to spend money on buying the movie again.

Is anyone who already owns this DVD going to fork out on buying a special edition version? I know I probably will but does it annoy you and put you off spending more money on DVDs you already own? How many duplicates are in your collection because of a situation like this?

I bought the Shawshank newest version when that came out. My girlfriend couldn’t understand why I wanted it when I already had it! I also got Gladiators newest edition despite having the dvd. And I will definitley be getting the new Reservoir dogs edition. I only have the original boring red case at the moment.

Just wondered what you thought about the forthcoming Wicker Man remake. How could it ever be as good as the original??? I have seen the trailers and it looks pants. What do you think? Why do they insist on remaking films that were perfect in their original format and cannot be improved upon? Later :)

Funny that because I just saw a poster for The Wicker Man remake on my street.
I really like the original but i’m dredding a remake. What annoys me the most about remakes is that people will just see that movie and there whole opinion of it will be tarnished and they will never care for seeing the original.
I don’t have it on DVD yet so I think I will be making sure I get this one.
