Richard Lepes will direct the indie corporate thriller On the Hook which stars Frank Langella as an energy company whistleblower who hires a private eye to protect him from a killer. Elliott Gould will play the private eye, with Laura Harring also cast.
Vertigo Entertainment are remaking the 2004 Filipino thriller Sigsaw. Jessie Bradford will lead the remake which will be known as The Echo with shooting beginning mid-August.

Saw has been the smartest slasher series ever. I found Saw3 to be more of a character/emotional story that really made me think long after the credits rolled. I hope the fourth installment is the last.
Good as it’s been it’s time for it to end and besides, without Tobin Bell the series really wouldn’t be the same. Let it go out on a high note.
