Has the Oldboy remake being put on hold? Let’s hope so! Director Justin Lin claims the remake will be delayed as he has several other projects in the fire, although there are no direct quotes.
Salma Hayek is to produce and star in a Spanish romantic comedy titled La Banda about a wealthy housewife who falls on hard times and decides to become the lead singer of a wedding band. It will be her first movie in Spain for nearly a decade, and will coincide with a release of a soundtrack of songs to be performed by the hottie.
The Passion of the Christ, The Nativity Story and now Myriam, Mother of Christ. Yes we are set to see another biblical tale on our screens. MGM have picked up the North American rights to distribute this dramatic re-telling of Mary’s life in the run up to Jesus’ birth.
