But then I guess it would wouldn’t it, after all they did hire the stunt coordinator from that franchise for this movie. The rooftop chase, the bike jump onto the boat, the close contact fighting. It’s all from The Bourne Ultimatum.
Well, we got to see lots of action. That was nice wasn’t it? A bit more talk about the “bigger plot” with the interrogation scene and the “who do you work for?”, I liked that bit. I also enjoyed the mention of Vesper, keeping continuity is surely the key to this series’ longevity. Also like the hint of melancholy direction from Marc Foster, it’s subtle but I liked it.
So far so good, I guess. More plot for the next trailer and more of the supporting roles please. Wonder if the trailer looks better on the big screen?

Excellent and very exciting. I love old-school Bond, but the way they’re configuring the Daniel Craig films as gritty, backstory character pieces with up-to-date action is absolutely the best way to innovate this franchise. It all looks good so far…
