Dennis Quaid has joined Rachel Weisz and upcoming Spider-Man 3 villain Thomas Haden Church in Smart People. The movie begins production in November and will be helmed by Noam Murro.

Sounds like the perfect role for Quaid. He has a great gift of making you feel sympathetic towards the character he is portraying even if they aren’t particulary good intentioned. Rachel Weisz is always good and I enjoyed Church’s role in Sideways which up till now is the only movie I have seen him in.
Looks promising so far.
