The Cannes Film Festival is well and truly under-way, which accounts for why the news at the moment comes in big spurts and it why it’s so hard to keep up!

The Cleaner was filmed here in my home town. Maybe Jon Favreau should have shot Iron Man here. The Shreveport PD cordoned off every street in an eight block radius when Sam Jackson was here filming -you couldn’t get close! And I just saw a trailer for Mr Brooks, Kevin Costner/William Hurt’s new movie. I saw some downtown buildings in the trailer and even the Texas street bridge! All that cheap shitty neon they put on the bridge never looked so good!
