POSTER: THE BANK JOB

I actually have a chance to THE BANK JOB in a couple of weeks time but sadly the screening falls on the same day as an already booked trip to see that much hyped LORD OF THE RINGS musical in London so I have to pass on it.

Shame, because I think this movie looks like fun.

Jason Statham stars as Terry, one of the bank robbers of the legendary ‘Baker Street heist of 1971′ where robbers stole over 3 million pounds worth of cash and jewellery but weren’t so easily arrested when police found them in possession of comprising ’sex scandal’ photo’s of Princess Margaret.

Love the poster, reminds me of a 70’s Steve McQueen movie. Like THE GETAWAY.

From the director of THE WORLD’S FASTEST INDIAN and THE RECRUIT… THE BANK JOB opens on 29th February (U.K.) and one week later in the U.S. You can see the previously released trailer HERE.

This is an awesome poster. It just has that classic look to it. I am definitely excited by the potential of this film.
