Not that most men would usually be picky when it comes to choosing between Angelina Jolie and Charlize Theron but when you once played 007, I guess you get that opportunity. Pierce Brosnan has gone on record this week firmly letting us know which beauty he would prefer to act alongside if THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR sequel ever gets off the ground.
His heart is firmly with the blondes…
“Charlize Theron is someone who I’ve always admired. I think she’s someone who has acquitted herself grandly. Nothing against Angelina Jolie. I think she’s a magnificent actress. But Charlize has a poise about her and has an inner strength and femininity which I really like to watch.”
Jolie was first rumored for the movie last year and we thought the movie was near development when Paul Verhoeven (BASIC INSTINCT, TOTAL RECALL) joined the project but still it stalls.

Charlize Theron is one of the best actresses in the business and quite beautiful. My only problem is that so many actors and actresses are simply over exposed.There in too many films. I enjoy seeing new talent. Personally I wish Rachel McAdams would work more as she’s one of my favorites.Thomas Crown affair 2 will have a limited audience as it will appeal mostly to the over 35 crowd!
