OWF Podcast #1 – Deja Vu & Review of 2006
Forget my solo podcasts, this is a brand new start. Today I’m joined again by Dan Powell and newcomer Peter Willis.
We talked about…
a) Our thoughts on Deja Vu, and why it was way better than what we expected.
b) Our review of 2006. Including how Harsh Times was on Dan’s list of worst movies of the year but on Peter’s favourites!
So listen to the podcast and please leave your comments.
I’ve noticed a few problems with the podcast. Again, I’ve managed to be on a bad angle with the microphone so my voice isn’t as loud as Peter and Dan’s. We will sort that out for next time.
Also I forgot to mention my second favourite movie of the year in my list, which was The Prestige. OOPS!
Again, we are still fairly new to this so it’s not perfect yet. I think we rushed through it to fast and next time a 20 minute preparation might be beneficial.
So enjoy the listen, and please leave your comments. Seriously, you don’t know how much we would appreciate it for this type of post.

Very good, guys!!! Sound quality is pretty good … like you said, Matt – your vocals are a little lighter than the others.
The three of you have a pretty good chemistry, and that will only improve over time.
However, “Snakes on a Plane???” Take it back!!!! That movie doesn’t belong on a list like that!!!
Im glad you have started the podcast again Matt!!! As good as ever keep it up!
By the way, Peter, you’re doing a great job with the website stuff!!! I think the site is pretty slick :)
Yeah I like. Great addition to the website. Keep it up!
I’m gonna be totally honest.
At first I thought you lot were too slow and not ‘lively’ and being a londoner I found 2 of your accents grating (Not sure who). There was a brief period were there was silence and I just thought it was like you lot had no chemistry together. However later on everyone seemed to get into it and it got really good. I felt that even though I didn’t agree with most of you lots choices the debates and reasoning was sound, and people were actually being lively and giving their reasoning and it was interesting too listen too. I think the only way to go is with more than one person, I haven’t heard your other podcasts, but the idea of a one man podcast is crazy! It was a good podcast and I will listen for next weeks/one.

Thanks for the comments guy, it really does help us and it is very much appreciated.
Not a lot we can do about our accents I’m afraid, but I’m glad you got into it near the end.
I think the silence can probably be blamed on the fact we were watching the Newcastle v Chelsea football match at the time and there was probably something happening in it ;)
