Fan Art Exhibit are running this unofficial, fan made photoshopped look at the newly cast Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern. If he looks exactly like this when filming begins in January, I will be a very happy man indeed, even if the look is slightly reminiscent of this.
Chris Nolan’s next movie at Warner Bros. is INCEPTION, a sci-fi picture set “within the architecture of the mind” and will star Leonardo DiCaprio with Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page and Cillian Murphy, and is based on his own original script. The movie shoots in June and will be released July 2010. His deal to direct INCEPTION is likely to include a wager to direct a third BATMAN movie which we expected to be released in 2012.

He looks more like the Kyle Raynor version of Green Lantern. They have to make him look more like Hal Jordan in my opinion.

Don’t worry. I’m sure when we see the Green Lantern movie he won’t have a mask. And he won’t be green, he’ll be dressed all in black. And you won’t see his actual physique through the costume because that would look too much like he’s wearing tights. Everyone everywhere knows that you are gay (or just look gay) if you actually wear tights, or if you wear anything thin and tight-fitting enough to look like tights. Every one of those heroes in the funny books who wore tights must have been “funny” — if you know what I’m saying — that’s why they all had boy sidekicks. He will have armor….. Like Iron Man. Because people wanted to see Iron Man, and Iron Man is great because of the armor. Batman wears armor now…… Superman doesn’t wear armor, they let the producers put him in tights and people don’t want to see Superman…. Superman Returned and nobody wanted to see it. I know Superman doesn’t NEED armor…. Everyone thought Superman looked gay….Green Lantern doesn’t need armor either?…. That doesn’t matter. If he doesn’t need armor, he doesn’t need to have a mask . Why does he even need to display that lantern sign anyway? Can’t he be called “The Dark Lantern”?
