Nicole Kidman was sent to hospital after she crashed the Jaguar she was driving on the set of the science fiction movie The Invasion yesterday morning. She was examined in hospital and sometime later released, apparently unscathed.

The Jaguar was being towed by a camera rig that skidded while taking a corner and caused Kidman’s car to hit a pole on West Sixth Street, police said. The actress was wearing a seat belt.
It was a movie set, so of course someone was filming the events and if you click here you can see the footage over at TMZ. Crash wasn’t all that spectacular, but let’s be thankful of that.
The Invasion which has gone through more production problems than Indiana Jones 4, but is now on course to be released in August, co-starring Daniel Craig and directed by Der Untergang director Olivier Hirschbiegel.
The film is a re-make of the classic Don Siegel sci-movie Invasion of the Body Snatchers, of which I have a poster of on my wall.
Maybe with this crash, God is sick of remakes too!
